What is CBDP and what are its effects?

CBDP is short for cannabidiphorol, a phytocannabinoid that occurs naturally in trace amounts in the cannabis plant. CBDP is a heptyl homologue of CBD (cannabidiol)  – CBDP has a 7-membered side chain, while CBD has a 5-membered side alkyl chain.

Commercially available products are produced by a process called isomerization from CBD isolate.

CBDP is likely to have similar effects to CBD, but probably stronger. Like CBD, it could support overall mental well-being, reduce symptoms of stress and anxiety, and improve sleep 😴.

It also appears that it may contribute to the fight against breast cancer cells, at least in cell culture. However, further research is needed to confirm this.
