Puffco Peak: proper care for a great experience
Puffco Peak is a concentrate vaporiser from the American brand Puffco – it is a portable e-rig with a cone shape and a removable glass bubbler.
It is a high-performance desktop vaporiser with adjustable temperature and an intense aromatic experience. However, to enjoy your concentrates as much as you did when you first bought it, it is important to clean it regularly.
With proper and regular care, you will ensure a clean taste with every puff 💨 and Puffco will give you pleasure for a long time. 💚

Why clean the Puffco Peak?
When the Puffco Peak is new, the vapour is beautifully smooth and the taste is clean 💨, but after a few weeks of intensive use, the quality can quickly decline. ⏬ The Puffco Peak is a vaporiser for concentrates, which can be particularly sticky 🐌.
Residues from concentrates that stick to the vaporiser can start to spoil the taste of the vapour 💨, and thus the whole experience, reduce the performance of the device and shorten its lifespan.
Regular cleaning will give you:
- Better flavour and performance ⚡
- Longer vaporiser life 💨
- Cleaner vaping = better for human health 😮💨
- Fewer malfunctions and error messages ⚠️
- Less odour 💩
What do you need to clean your Puffco Peak?
To clean your Puffco Peak vaporiser, you will need a few basic tools that are definitely worth having on hand as a vaporiser user:
- cotton buds – for cleaning the chamber
- cleaning brush for vaporisers – for sweeping out coarse dirt
- bristle pipe cleaner – for removing more stubborn deposits
- cleaning tissues – for removing resin
- at least 90% isopropyl alcohol (ISO) or organic vaporiser cleaner
The most effective partner for cleaning your vaporiser is isopropyl alcohol (ISO) – it is great for cleaning all glass and stainless steel parts, as well as the ceramic heating chamber itself 💨.
⚠️ Caution: Keep in mind that this is a relatively strong solvent and should never come into contact with wooden or silicone parts of the vaporiser.

When you purchase a Puffco Peak, you will also find cleaning sticks in the package. However, you can also use a small cleaning brush🧹– similar to the one that is often included with electric shavers.
To ensure that the brush can handle burnt or dried residue, it is best to use one with stiffer bristles.
How often should you clean your Puffco Peak?
There are two ways to clean your Puffco Peak 🛣️ – quick maintenance after each session and regular deep cleaning. The win-win approach is to do both.
1. Ongoing cleaning
It is advisable to clean your Puffco Peak every time the vaporiser runs out of power 🔋 and needs to be recharged.
2. Thorough cleaning
About once every 1–2 weeks, we recommend giving your Puffco a more thorough cleaning 🚿 – disassemble the device, clean all important parts and let them dry thoroughly.
It is also a good idea to clean the chamber itself whenever you notice excessive clogging with concentrates or when the vaporiser starts to signal a problem with a rainbow light 🌈.
Thorough cleaning is also ideal when switching between different types of concentrates.

After thorough cleaning, your Puffco Peak will be literally "like new" – no residue, no burnt deposits, just ready for the next round of vaporisation. ✨
How to clean the Puffco Peak vaporiser?
In the following paragraphs, we will explain step by step how to properly clean the Puffco Peak 🧼.
1. A mini ritual after each use
The best way to clean the Puffco Peak chamber is with at least 90% isopropyl alcohol (often referred to as ISO or IPA) 🫗– we offer 100% ISO.
For routine light cleaning, simply take a cotton swab dipped in 90%+ isopropyl alcohol and gently remove any residue trapped in and around the chamber.
⚠️ Warning: Never use water for cleaning, only ISO!
2. Deep clean step by step
Deep cleaning will take a little more time than quick cleaning after each discharge, but you will be rewarded with a Puffco that works like new again 🆕. Just follow the steps below 👇:
Cleaning the chamber:
- Turn off the vaporiser, unplug it and let it cool down for a while ❄️.
- Remove the carb cap and unscrew the chamber from the base.
- Immerse the entire chamber in 90%+ isopropyl alcohol and leave it in the solution for about 20 minutes ⏱️.
⚠️ Warning: Never clean with water!
Cleaning the base:
- Remove the glass and unscrew the chamber.
- Gently wipe the threads and surrounding area with a cotton swab and a little 90%+ ISO 🧴.
- Also clean the air path through which the vapour passes 💨.
⚠️ Caution: Do not allow water to get into the threads of the base.
Cleaning the bubbler:
- Carefully remove the glass bubbler from the base.
- You can immerse the entire glass in 90%+ isopropyl alcohol. Let it soak for a while to dissolve the concentrate deposits 💧.
- After soaking, remove the glass from the isopropyl alcohol and let it dry – so that the alcohol residue does not spoil the taste 👄.
- Allow the glass to dry completely before returning it to the base.
⚠️ Caution: Be careful not to get water on the bottom of the glass.

📌 Tip: Be especially careful when cleaning the heating chamber – there is a heating coil inside that can be damaged if too much pressure is applied.
A routine that pays off
If you incorporate this procedure into your routine, Puffco Peak will reward you with a clean taste and reliable performance. 💨✨
Regular maintenance and occasional deep/thorough cleaning and you're all set – your next dab session will be stress-free, error-free and without burnt flavour. 💚

FAQ
1. Do I have to clean my vaporiser?
Yes. If the Puffco Peak is not cleaned regularly, concentrate residue and burnt grease will begin to accumulate in the chamber, mouthpiece and glass.
This can have several unpleasant consequences:
- worse taste
- weaker effect and lower performance
- higher risk of malfunction
- less hygienic use
- odour
2. What should you use to clean your vaporiser?
90%+ isopropyl alcohol (ISO) is ideal for cleaning the Puffco Peak chamber. You will also need cotton buds, a cleaning brush or a wire cleaning brush.
3. How to clean resin from a vaporiser?
Live resin, or resin extract, is best cleaned with 90%+ isopropyl alcohol (ISO) or a special vaporiser cleaner.
First, turn off the vaporiser and unplug it from the power supply. Once it has cooled down, remove the carb cap and unscrew the chamber. Then place it in a container with isopropyl alcohol and let it soak for a while.
4. How to clean a vaporizer without alcohol?
90%+ isopropyl alcohol is best for cleaning vaporisers, but special organic vaporiser cleaners can also be used.
