When the Puffco Peak is new, the vapour is beautifully smooth and the taste is clean 💨, but after a few weeks of intensive use, the quality can quickly decline. ⏬ The Puffco Peak is a vaporiser for concentrates, which can be particularly sticky 🐌.

Residues from concentrates that stick to the vaporiser can start to spoil the taste of the vapour 💨, and thus the whole experience, reduce the performance of the device and shorten its lifespan.

• at least 90% isopropyl alcohol (ISO) or organic vaporiser cleaner

The most effective partner for cleaning your vaporiser is isopropyl alcohol (ISO) – it is great for cleaning all glass and stainless steel parts, as well as the ceramic heating chamber itself 💨.

⚠️ Caution: Keep in mind that this is a relatively strong solvent and should never come into contact with wooden or silicone parts of the vaporiser.

How often should you clean your Puffco Peak?

There are two ways to clean your Puffco Peak 🛣️ – quick maintenance after each session and regular deep cleaning. The win-win approach is to do both.

1. Ongoing cleaning

It is advisable to clean your Puffco Peak every time the vaporiser runs out of power 🔋 and needs to be recharged.

2. Thorough cleaning

About once every 1–2 weeks, we recommend giving your Puffco a more thorough cleaning 🚿 – disassemble the device, clean all important parts and let them dry thoroughly.

It is also a good idea to clean the chamber itself whenever you notice excessive clogging with concentrates or when the vaporiser starts to signal a problem with a rainbow light 🌈.

Thorough cleaning is also ideal when switching between different types of concentrates.

How to clean the Puffco Peak vaporiser?

In the following paragraphs, we will explain step by step how to properly clean the Puffco Peak 🧼.

1. A mini ritual after each use 

The best way to clean the Puffco Peak chamber is with at least 90% isopropyl alcohol (often referred to as ISO or IPA) 🫗– we offer 100% ISO. 

For routine light cleaning, simply take a cotton swab dipped in 90%+ isopropyl alcohol and gently remove any residue trapped in and around the chamber.

⚠️ Warning: Never use water for cleaning, only ISO!

2. Deep clean step by step

Deep cleaning will take a little more time than quick cleaning after each discharge, but you will be rewarded with a Puffco that works like new again 🆕. Just follow the steps below 👇:

Cleaning the chamber:

• Turn off the vaporiser, unplug it and let it cool down for a while ❄️.
• Remove the carb cap and unscrew the chamber from the base.
• Immerse the entire chamber in 90%+ isopropyl alcohol and leave it in the solution for about 20 minutes ⏱️.

⚠️ Warning: Never clean with water!

Cleaning the base:

• Remove the glass and unscrew the chamber.
• Gently wipe the threads and surrounding area with a cotton swab and a little 90%+ ISO 🧴.
• Also clean the air path through which the vapour passes 💨.

⚠️ Caution: Do not allow water to get into the threads of the base.

Cleaning the bubbler:

• Carefully remove the glass bubbler from the base.
• You can immerse the entire glass in 90%+ isopropyl alcohol. Let it soak for a while to dissolve the concentrate deposits 💧.
• After soaking, remove the glass from the isopropyl alcohol and let it dry – so that the alcohol residue does not spoil the taste 👄.
• Allow the glass to dry completely before returning it to the base.

⚠️ Caution: Be careful not to get water on the bottom of the glass.

📌 Tip: Be especially careful when cleaning the heating chamber – there is a heating coil inside that can be damaged if too much pressure is applied.
