CBG flowers are becoming more and more popular despite the higher price

CBG on the rise

Cannabigerol is an essential component of cannabis and is one of the first to appear in the plant when it starts to flower. However, it is gradually converted into other substances and not much of the pure CBG - the mother of cannabinoids - is left in the end. What is salvaged is sold at relatively high prices, which puts many users off. The effects of CBD and CBG are not identical, but they are similar in many ways, as many studies and research suggest, but people understandably prefer the cheaper and more accessible variant, which is cannabidiol. CBG itself is especially praised by patients with neurodegenerative disease or bowel problems. More and more interesting is the combination with CBD, where the effects are amplified and bring more significant relief from health complications.

The solution is to breed cannabis varieties with high CBG content, where a much larger amount of the substance is extracted from the plant and its price starts to fall.

CBG flowers

While CBG oils are popular, it is the flowers that are coming to the fore. The big advantage is that when you take cannabigerol, you're also getting CBD and lots of terpenes into your body.

Just a few years ago, the proportion of CBG in cannabis products was quite low, but today it is quite different and is commonly around 15%. However, for complete beginners - as with CBD and many other cannabinoids - it is recommended to start with a lower concentration to help the body get used to the new substances and to avoid strong reactions and side effects.

Cannabigerol is quite often taken in the form of capsules or oils, but CBG flowers have many benefits. It is possible that very soon you will feel increased concentration and a surge of energy, an improvement in mood and the relief of anxiety. The onset of effects is faster than other cannabinoids and, unlike CBD which has a similar effect on the human body, it does not cause a sore throat.

CBG květy nepatří mezi klasický sortiment v kamenných obchodech, ale v mnohém předčí i CBD.

Safe and legal?

CBG is safe, many researches and studies suggest so. But again, beware if you take prescription drugs or suffer from infections and specific health problems. Pregnant and breastfeeding women also need to be careful. It is not so clear-cut with legal use. Each country has its own laws and regulations and its own attitude towards cannabis products. Attitudes are constantly changing. Before your first use (and on an ongoing basis), make sure you know where CBG stands.

Careful when choosing a CBG

Not all products from the cannabis plant are of high quality. Varieties, cultivation and processing vary. Each step has an impact on the final quality. It's not just money wasted on a product that doesn't live up to your expectations, but also poor health benefits that fall far short of expectations.

Third Party View

Focus on ensuring that all CBG flowers are tested and analysed to detect poor processing or errors during the processing process. Independent supervision is essential for a sufficient level of quality.

Customer reviews

Advertising and promotion is one thing, user reviews are another. Read reviews carefully before buying CBG flowers to avoid disappointment and get a product that suits you best.

Advice from more experienced

There is nothing like the help of those who have experience with CBG flowers. Contact specialist shops and take advantage of their advice services. They will make your decision easier and find the ideal product tailored to you and recommend the dosage. CBG flowers are not the sort of product where you walk into a shop or find a deal online and buy without a second thought.
